Describe the word without saying any of the five words.

Players take turns describing a card while avoiding its forbidden words. Others guess what the card says.

Available on iPhone and Android · iOS / Android

Explain the word

Each card has five forbidden words. Play in teams, take turns and pass the phone between players.

Start with the Classic pack

The Classic pack is free to play and includes ads. The first two games have no ads.

Choose a pack or pass

Buy a pack to keep it, or use a timed pass to open every pack and turn off ads while the pass is active. Classic and purchased packs remain available afterward.

How we built it.

Unspeakabl is designed around the pace of a room full of people: set up teams, give clues against the clock, hand over the phone and keep the score moving.

The phone has a role between turns too

The game flow includes team setup, pack selection, a get-ready countdown, the active turn, a handover screen and final results. Correct, Skip and Taboo actions record what happened during play. The handover gives the next team a clear starting point, while turn and game summaries bring the scores back into view.

Cards are structured game content

Each card stores a target word, forbidden words, category and difficulty. The deck can therefore support themed packs and card selection rules instead of treating every prompt as a disconnected text image. Timer state, teams, scoring and unlocks sit in a shared game context, so screens work from the same active game.

A mobile game that remembers its settings

Expo and React Native provide the iPhone and Android application. React Navigation manages the sequence of screens, and AsyncStorage keeps settings and local game statistics. Haptics support feedback for actions during a turn. The implementation also contains native purchase and advertising integrations, with pack and pass choices explained in the game’s own screens.
