Federation, region and leadership pages give the site a clear structure. Visitors can move from the organisation overview to the group or programme they need.
The website introduces public programmes such as JSG Biz Network, JSG Saptapadi and Rakta Mitra. Each has a place within the wider organisation.
JSGIF combines a public federation website with practical filing workflows for its groups. The public pages and administrative forms have different needs, but they share one maintained system.
Form A supports an advance filing and a final true-up. The final calculation brings together the current contribution, previous dues and advance payments, including a carried credit when payments exceed the amount owed. The live form, email summary and printable sheet use matching descriptions so a group can understand the same calculation in each format.
The backend looks up ledger balances and recomputes derived amounts from member counts instead of trusting totals submitted by the browser. Access to a group’s opening balances is OTP-gated. On the frontend, the form and PDF view mirror the calculation for a useful preview, while the saved result remains the server’s responsibility.
The frontend uses React Router with server rendering, with a Node.js, Express and MongoDB backend. PDF rendering supports printable filing documents. This is broader than a brochure website: organisation information, group workflows and generated documents all need to remain understandable across the public and administrative parts of the system.
